I need to know which websites are good for hosting and buying domains from?

If you could please include where you found the information you are using to form your opinion it would be greatly appreciated. More than one website is fine to submit, I am doing research right now to find a place to host my website. Thanks.

Have just been reading through some of the posts regarding Web Hosting and noticed your in the same situation as me (having some difficulty finding a decent host) take a quick look at:

The things that stood out to me-


1. Currently UK2 are offering a free domain with all of there web hosting packages (which are decently priced).





2. According to Pingdom.com and Hyperspin.com this year they've had 100% uptime (which is always nice).





and 3. They're UK based with UK based call centres so no more indecipherable calls to the Pacific Rim if something goes wrong.
