I'm hosting a murder myster party for halloween, what foods should I serve?

The party is set in Transylvania and it is an "engagement" party. Most of the guests will be between ages 18 and 20.

how about "Ball and Chain" spaghetti..for the wedding, but the meatballs are the balls and spaghetti is the chains...
Reply:suggestion for Mystery/vampire Party foods-serve buffet style

Bloody sausage-Mini hot dogs or cut dogs in either a darken catsup (brown sugar/catsup/honey/food coloring) or BBQ sauce served in a crock pot

Potato chips with garlic Dip (Mayo/garlic/chives or green onions)

Paprika chicken (modern style-but listed in the Dracula novel)

Chicken Wings coated with a glaze of paprika and honey mustard

Pumpkin Bread

A bloody brain-a cherry jello in a brain mold

Bride of the Frankenstein-non spiced Chicken wings served with a (GREEN) pesto sauce

Pesant food-Veggy and cheese platter

Stakes-Thin Garlic Bread sticks (can be served with a cheese dip)

Bloody Drac- Cherry/grape Tomatoes on a small wooden stakes

Steak tartar--thin roast or brisket served medium rare (slightly red)

Rough sea-Tuna salad mixed with mayo (make rolls available)

The brides of Dracula-mini cherry filled creme puffs

A Vlad the Empaler-mini Shika bobs (a pepper/cherry tomatoe/piece of onion/steak or beef)

A hero-a six foot cold cut sandwich cut in slices
Reply:How about a wedding cake mock up or something...but if guests are expected to move around in the process of solving a mystery you might want to just set up several buffet type stations and serve finger food. You can play on the theme and serve lots of garlicky stuff and "holy water".
Reply:Franks %26amp; Steins, Ghoul Burgers, Green Slime Punch, Chips %26amp; Dip (in a hollowed out skull) .
Reply:buy candy and decorate get the supplies from party city
Reply:I wouldn't advise trying ti incorparate the theme into the food........might get a bad reaction from the guest. You should probably stick with finger foods......meatballs, crackers and cheese, a fruit %26amp; vegetable platter, wings.......

Good Luck
Reply:Here's the link to a lot of fun recipes for Halloween treats for parties, like "eerie eyeballs" and "bizzare brain".
