What do you guys think of South Africa hosting the next world cup?

Any of you gona go to SA to watch the soccer. Its gona be exciting!

What do you guys think of South Africa hosting the next world cup?
I am gonna be there, I will be 21 by that time..so... you know what i am hoping for.... yay!

Reply:i don´t think they´re able to stop the crime there. it´s pretty dangerous for all goin there and i find it so stupid anyways...the citizen are dyin of hunger and the gouvernment just spends the money on soccer!!!!!!!!!that´s so sick!

Reply:My opinion might be crazy, but I think South African got it because they have a large population of white compared to any other african nation. WTF is the big deal by giving it to an all black african nation?
Reply:i dont think it'll be much for the SA fans them selves unless the team plays really hard and goes deeper into the tournament. I mean what fun would it be if the SA team is kicked out in the first round itself?
Reply:It's gonna be thrilling ! for one, most Europeans and Americas would visit the continent for the first time and take a look at the myths there are used to as they would discover Africans dont jump on the trees like monkeys. Again, most African teams like Nigeria and even South Africa would express themselves in the game in the end an African team would be in the finals maybe.

No public transport, rampant crime especially targetting tourists, corrupt politicians, bogus or corrupt police, inflated prices for foreigners, and shocking service everywhere.


It will also be wintertime in South Africa during the tournament!

I'd love to go but this past WC has turned me off WC soccer--too low scoring and not worth watching. If it bounces back to 1982 levels of excitement, I'd go.
