I work in the medical field. The training event will be on a Saturday. How can I make this session fun without putting my volunteers to sleep? I want them to be motivated when they complete it. The minimum age is 18 for participants.
I'm hosting a volunteer training session soon. What are some ideas to make it fun and not boring?
I've been to a lot of training sessions over the years and the ones that were the most interesting had several things in common:
The first was plenty of food %26amp; beverages on hand (such as iced waters, coffee, cookies, or a veggie tray) with 5 minute breaks every hour;
The second was interesting handouts that could be referred to and finally;
the opportunity to break up into small groups and explore a particular topic. We'd discuss whatever the subject it was, brainstorm etc. and then present our conclusions/findings to the rest of the class when the time was up.
Reply:you could play like music and things like tht have sum things to do but when its time to train u turn off the music or w/e u have there and u train/ talk to them
Reply:Besides the actual training, you can do some team building events as well. That is always an icebreaker and fun as well.
