What is the best (and cheapest) hosting site if I want to start a web magazine?

I am looking for an inexpensive site to host my web magazine. I would like to be able to post pictures and long bits of text. It doesn't need to be super fancy.

Reply:I use GoDaddy. I pay for my site so it isn't free. But it is not expensive. If you only have one domain name, it will cost you about $50 or less a year which would include the domain name. Then, there is no extra ads on your site.
Reply:I got some resources below but make sure take a look all of them what they have to offer. learn what are the free package they offer. you need to know and understand what you really need and check the one that offer close to your need. ask your self do you want to install a blog, forum, a chat room, shopping cart, or image gallery. what kind of site builder you want to use? there a lot of things are offered in web hosting packages but you need to know what they are first. hope that helps a bit.

freewebs is completely free if your just starting out, and its very neat.


the only problem is that if you want more than 20 pages on your website, you'll have to buy it.

Reply:Don't go for free ones unless you like random ads popping from your site. Hostgator is good because you don't have to pay an entire year of hosting fee at once. Cheapest is not always the best coz you don't wanna see your site being down coz of an unstable server.
