Is the stated PHPBB support on hosting sites mean that they also support PHPBB3?

I want to know because im planning to set up a site. they always say phpbb but bot phpbb3 and im confused.

Also is there a site capable of hosting phpbb3? I dont want the free forum site.

Is the stated PHPBB support on hosting sites mean that they also support PHPBB3?
As an experienced webmaster I suggest BlueHost service which I’m sure it would work for you and fulfill all your requirements. They have a really great offer for hosting %26amp; I have used them for over 3 yrs now, and have never had a single problem with them.

You can go there through the address below:

Good Luck!
Reply:you could try http://kohost.0lx.net

provides free hosting where you can host your own forum, phpBB, smf, etc

in the control panel, there's a one-click installation for the various scripts that you can choose from... supports php, MySQL, etc, therefore, installing PHPBB3 shouldnt be a problem.

you can also install your own scripts if you can't find it in the one-click installer. :)
Reply:You should be able to install it yourself if you have a Mysql access on the web server and php installed. Most web hosts allow for a one click creation of the forum so its easier for users. The version depends entirely on the web host. If you have more advanced knowledge on installing it yourself you can install which ever version fits your needs.
